Dr. Jacob Ackerman

Jacob Ackerman, MD, FACS

Dr. Ackerman received his M.D. degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. His ophthalmology training was completed at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Ackerman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

 

 

Dr. Adam Lish

Adam Lish, MD, FACS

Dr. Lish received his M.D. degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. His ophthalmic training was completed at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Lish did research and a glaucoma fellowship at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the SUNY Health Science Center of Brooklyn and has an adjunct appointment at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center of New York. Dr Lish has been an attending clinical instructor in Glaucoma at the Mount Sinai Medical Center for the past fifteen years and continues to teach other physicians. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Dennis Metz

Dennis Metz, MD, FACS

Dr. Metz received his M.D. degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. His ophthalmology training was completed at the Brookdale Hospital Medical Center. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.




Dr. Jonathan M. Schulhof MD

Jonathan M. Schulhof, MD

Dr. Schulhof received his undergraduate degree from CUNY Queens College graduating Summa Cum Laude. He received his medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and remained at Mount Sinai for his Ophthalmology residency, serving as chief resident in his final year. Dr. Schulhof completed his Glaucoma fellowship at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Dr. Schulhof is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Glaucoma Society. He has presented at international Ophthalmology meeetings, and published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals on various topics in Ophthalmology and Glaucoma. Dr. Schulhof is an attending surgeon at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary where he enjoys teaching residents and fellows.
